The competition is open to all, but a consistent climbing level is strongly recommended.
The concept is simple: one climber climbs while the other supports and coaches. Each team has 4 minutes to top the boulder — go over, and it’s elimination. Even tougher, in the finals, the first boulder is sudden death: if one climber fails, the whole team is out.
A ruthless rule that keeps athletes under constant pressure, where every fall could mean the end of the road. TBA is designed to be accessible, yet delivers rare intensity, with no second chances. This unique format attracts both seasoned climbers and those who might hesitate to enter more traditional comps, thanks to its friendly vibe and team spirit.
A community-driven event: shaped by the intimate setting of Climbing District Buttes Chaumont, camaraderie and adrenaline combine to create an electric atmosphere… A true “Boiler Room”.
