Start or improve: understand techniques and develop focus.
You’ve probably noticed that climbing is an innate ability in children—a sport that combines fun, play, and freedom.
Nurture this gift by enrolling your little one in climbing classes. You’ll help them strengthen their health and develop a whole range of superpowers: observation skills, self-confidence, teamwork, problem-solving, overcoming fear, responsibility, perseverance, strategy, creativity, self-awareness, channeling energy, pushing limits, strength and endurance, agility and balance, and more.
In short, all good things for both the body and the brains of young climbers!
And don’t forget the joy of sharing this passion for climbing between parents and children!

Time slots: Monday to Saturday Duration: 45 minutes Locations: Batignolles, Canal Saint-Martin, or Neuilly
One-hour group lesson including supervision, entry and equipment loan.
Classes are organized by age groups: 4-5 years, 6-7 years, and 8-10 years, and we take great care to ensure that older children are not grouped with much younger ones. The sessions last between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours and run throughout the year (September to June), excluding school holidays.
Classes are group-based, but the instructor adapts the teaching to each child’s level, whether beginner or advanced.
The lessons follow three stages:
A warm-up to learn how to avoid injuries.
Fun activities on the climbing wall to understand basic principles related to vertical movement, balance, managing fear and self-confidence, engagement and concentration, and above all, safety.
Learning to fall safely, land on the mats, and move efficiently both on the wall and around the gym are key points the instructor emphasizes.
Finally, climbing exercises allow the youngsters to progressively learn various climbing techniques and movements on boulders (or routes) suited to their level.
The last few minutes of the class are dedicated to cooldown and stretching exercises.
Children and young climbers don’t need any specific equipment. Climbing shoes are provided by the gym. We recommend flexible sportswear that protects the knees (such as sweatpants or leggings). A simple T-shirt is enough for the top. There’s no need to buy chalk powder for kids (used to dry hands).
Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to try on your shoes, get dressed, and allow the younger ones to use the restroom.
We recommend that those who can arrive already dressed in their climbing gear.
The classes teach children to climb safely in the gym, under the active supervision of their parents or guardians.
