How do the classes take place?

The classes are organized by age groups: 4–5 years, 6–7 years, and 8–10 years. We make sure every child progresses alongside peers of the same age — older kids are never mixed with the younger ones.

⏱ Duration varies from 45 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes, depending on age, throughout the year (September to June, excluding school holidays).

The sessions are group-based, but the instructor always tailors the teaching to each child’s level — whether they’re beginners or looking to improve their skills.

Each class follows a structured sequence 👉

    1. Warm-up: learning how to prepare the body and prevent injuries.

    2. Fun wall activities: exploring vertical movement, balance, fear management, self-confidence, focus, and safety.

    3. Essential skills: learning how to fall safely, land correctly, and move confidently around the gym and on the wall.

    4. Climbing exercises: progressively practicing climbing techniques and movements on routes suited to each level.

    5. Cool-down: stretching and recovery to finish the session smoothly.

What equipment is needed to participate in a climbing camp?

We kindly ask parents to ensure their child has had a drink 💦 and used the restroom before the session begins.
We recommend a light snack before class so your child has plenty of energy 💪

👖 Pants or sweatpants:
not too loose and not too tight, to avoid catching on holds and to protect the knees.

👚 T-shirt or sweatshirt:
appropriate for the season (bring a warm sweatshirt in winter).

👟Climbing shoes:
climbing shoes are provided for all students during class, but you’re also welcome to bring your own — available at Decathlon or Le Vieux Campeur in Paris.

💦 Water bottle:
keep it close at hand to stay hydrated during the class.

👔 Changing rooms and lockers:
available for storing personal belongings during the class. Please bring a padlock to secure your locker.
