How does a discovery class work?

Our classes are group-based: each child climbs alongside the others, but the instructor adapts to each child’s level so everyone can progress safely.
  1. Warm-up
We start with small games on the wall to learn how to move at height, find balance, and build confidence while avoiding little injuries.

  2. Learning how to fall
Children discover how to jump and land softly on the mats. Knowing how to fall also means learning how to move safely around the gym.

  3. Climbing like a real climber
The instructor demonstrates simple techniques and movements to progress on the boulders, with routes adapted to each child’s age and level.

And to end the class…

We always wrap up with a calm moment and a few stretches to relax the muscles after a good climbing session.

Then we take a short sharing moment: each child can talk about what they enjoyed, how they felt, and their little victories of the day.

And if your child loved the experience, the instructor will present the different options to continue the climbing adventure with Climbing District in Paris.
