The first climbing school in Paris to improve 🦍 while having fun. 😍
A great time to make new friends 😊 and burn off some energy 🐶.
Climbing camps at Climbing District are a real opportunity for kids to let off steam 💥 while practicing a sport that engages a wide range of cognitive skills 🧠 and motor learning abilities. Children discover a smart, problem-solving activity where reading a boulder route is much like cracking a puzzle.
Each child can set their own goals in a spirit of fun and shared challenge with fellow climbers. They make progress session after session — developing their cognitive, physical, and technical abilities — pushing themselves further, spurred on by the cheers 👏 of their peers.
It’s a unique chance for them to meet new friends in a playful yet demanding environment.
With guidance from their instructor, kids show impressive climbing progress in just one week.Self-confidence and independence 🤩 grow rapidly, giving them a real taste for pushing their limits and embracing effort.
All our instructors are state-certified and know how to tailor their approach to each child’s needs — whether they’re just starting out or already have a more advanced climbing background 💪, indoors or outdoors.
Each class is adapted to individual needs 🐶, and groups are carefully organized by age range, with a limited number of children (fewer than 10 for the older ones and a maximum of 8 for the youngest).
The sessions are structured in three phases:
First, a warm-up 🔥 to prevent injuries. Then come fun activities on the climbing wall designed to teach the fundamentals of vertical movement 🐆, balance, managing fear 😱 and building self-confidence 🤠, along with focus, commitment, and—most importantly—safety.Learning how to fall, land safely on mats, and move both on the wall and around the space are key elements that instructors emphasize.
Finally, kids move on to climbing exercises where they gradually learn different climbing techniques 🧑🔬 and movement patterns, adapted to their level and ability.
The last minutes of the session are dedicated to cooling down 😴, with a short round of stretching to wrap things up smoothly.
Children and teens don’t need any specific equipment. Climbing shoes 🛼 are provided by the gym. We recommend wearing comfortable sportswear 👖 that protects the knees (like sweatpants or leggings). A simple T-shirt 👕 is perfect for the upper body.
There’s no need to buy chalk (the powder used to dry hands) for kids.
We kindly ask you to always arrive ⏰ 10 minutes early to try on your climbing shoes, get dressed, and for the younger children, to use the restroom 🚽. We recommend that those who can, arrive already in their sportswear.
The camps are a great way 👉 to safely introduce children to climbing in the gym, whether they are accompanied by their parents or allowed to climb independently.
